Post Malone Commemorates Mac Miller At KAABOO Del Mar Festival

Post Malone is the latest rapper to use his platform to tribute Mac Miller.

The 23-year-old hit the KAABOO Del Mar Festival in San Diego stage on Friday (September 14) in a custom-made tee with the words "RIP Mac Miller" airbrushed over the front. The Isa Beniston design, embellished with pink and blue roses, was worn by Post to consecrate the Swimming musician who died last week from a suspected overdose at 26.

The Beerbongs & Bentleys emcee was among the myriad artists to pen a message honoring the "So It Goes" performer.

“God f**king dammit. You were such an incredible person. You changed so many lives. Had so much love in your heart," he wrote at the time. "You inspired me throughout highschool, and I wouldn’t be where I was today without you. Never a more kind and sincere and beautiful person. I f**king love you mac."

Since his passing, many more musicians have taken the stage to remember the fallen star. G-Eazy, Kendrick Lamar, and Childish Gambino have all memorialized the beloved lyricist with special tributes.

"Completely devastated and heart broken I’m at a loss for words mac you were like a brother to me and were there for me in the hardest of times, especially this summer," the "No Limit" star mourned at a Florida concert. "He was a good dude. Always made you feel good, great energy to have around. … and that's something that I commend," Lamar told Complex.

As of late, Miller's body has been transported to his hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where his family is preparing to lay him to rest.

Per reports from PEOPLE, Miller's autopsy was completed September 10. His cause of death, however, is still being investigated.
