Blueface Responds To Claims He Dissed Nipsey Hussle

Blueface wants the world to know that he did not disrespect Nipsey Hussle.

On Wednesday (November 13), the "Thotiana" rapper took to Twitter to set the record straight amid reports that he and his manager Wack 100 dissed the late rapper. "Till this day I haven’t said one word about nip idk y y’all mad at me," Blueface wrote before shouting out his neighborhood. "Sycooyardcryp."

He then loosely quoted Rico from Paid in Full, writing, "Ny**as die everyday B🤷🏾‍♂️."

Blueface's tweets came a week after he and Wack 100 made a joint appearance on a podcast and spoke about Nipsey's death. Well, Wack did most of the talking while Blueface snickered in the background.

During the interview, Wack not only appeared to rationalize with Nipsey's alleged killer, but he also said Nipsey wasn't a "legend," and he called the support of the Cali rapper following his death "fake love."

"All these radio stations, all these people is all fake," he said. "I can speak on it because I was part of the Nipsey Hussle movement getting him his first multi-million dollar deal... You got a man who died with a million followers and no radio hit and no f**king platinum plaques. But because everyone start talking like it's a god*amn Popeyes chicken sandwich... So where was all these fans?... He didn't die an A-list artist. Y'all talking about he's a legend. If he's a legend why didn't y'all treat him like that when he was here?... I feel like Nipsey should have been a bigger artist personally. But where the hell was all you diehard fans when Nipsey needed you to support his product?"

Wack additionally explained why Blueface, who like Nipsey was a Crip, didn't immediately say "rest in peace" following Nipsey's death. "He don't know him. Never talked, never had a conversation," Wack shared. "And the fact of the matter is their two neighborhoods—for 25 years—have been on and off enemies. So him not saying nothing is really him showing respect."

While Blueface didn't speak much during the interview, he could be heard laughing in the background. He also at one point whispered: "I'm only staying because it's going viral."

Despite his few words, none of which were aimed at Nip, the late activist's artist Killa Twan threatened Blueface on Twitter after the airing of the podcast, writing, "On NicKersons I’ll f**k over @bluefacebleedem in a head up squabble. LiL ni**a betta watch his muhhf**kin mouf... him & wack!!"
