Lebron James is serious with remaking the classic movie. According to TMZ, LeBron and his producing partner, Maverick Carter, are spearheading the project through their production company, Springhill Entertainment ... with "Atlanta" writers, Stephen Gloverand Jamal Olori, doing the screenplay.
I believe this is a smart move for Lebron, maybe when he retire from the NBA he can start acting in movies. This is probably Lebron's plan. A lot of people may think this is a bad idea or the movie not going to be good because they used of seeing Lebron on the basketball court but, I say give it a try. According to TMZ, they said Kid and Play might not be in it. Now we all know there's no House Party movie without Kid and Play.
