Shots were fired about 2 p.m. outside the station at Howard and Sixth streets, Detroit police media relations officer Nicole Kirkwood said.
"Witnesses stated there was an exchange of gunfire outside of the location between three vehicles: a black newer model Audi, a black Yukon and a blue Chrysler 300," she said. "All of the vehicles fled in an unknown direction, and we have no shooting victim at this time."
Kirkwood said she could not confirm reports from TV news stations that an argument between passengers on a bus preceded the shooting.
