On Saturday, May 18th, the Detroit Medical Center will host a FREE “Get Healthy Expo” at the Greater Emmanuel Institutional COGIC Church in Detroit, inviting the community to attend and jump start their journey to health.
The Expo will offer a variety of important opportunities to learn about improving overall health and reducing risks, including: one-on-one advice with physicians and experts; cooking demos with top chefs offering healthy recipes; healthy giveaways; and free screenings for blood pressure, glucose levels, cholesterol and more.
DMC’s family of nurses, doctors, staff and healthcare specialists are dedicated to providing expert, compassionate care for the community of Detroit. This event is designed to take this expert care out into the community and address the consumer desire for readily available information on how to optimize overall health.
