Nicki Minaj announced her retirement from the rap game today to pursue the ultimate life-change, motherhood. Nicki and her boyfriend, Kenneth Petty, recently filed for a marriage license, but still no confirmation that they've actually tied the knot.

Nicki tweeted,

"I've decided to retire & have my family. I know you guys are happy now. To my fans, keep me reppin, do it to the death of me, in the box - cuz ain't nobody checkin me. Love you for LIFE"

Nicki Minaj's "Queen Radio" could be the perfect retirement 'press box' platform for the Bronx rapper. Just as professional athletes retire from sports to become an broadcaster or analyst, Nicki still has her podcast platform to talk about the game from her point of view.
