Hip-Hop mogul Dame Dash, says he's recently fallen into dire straits with money, was arrested Wednesday in NYC for failing to pay overdue child support.
Earlier this year, it was revealed Dame owed over $400K to two of his baby mamas -- apparently he hadn't paid and arrest warrant's were subsequently issued.
Before the arrest, Dame went to a Manhattan courthouse and successfully paid off about a million dollars to clear one warrant. Dash says as soon as he stepped out of the courtroom to head to the other place, about 7 deputy cops were all over him. They cuffed, processed, then escorted him to Brooklyn to take care of the rest of his tab.
Dame tells TMZ his arresting deputies were incredibly kind and cooperative with him.
Apparently, Dash struck a deal with ex-wife that he would pay $6,000 a month total for both kids, and the obligation didn't stop at 18. In September 2019, Dame filed legal docs saying enough's enough, and he no longer wants to pay support to 19-year-old Ava.
Dame claims he's not the cash register he once use to be, claiming his adjusted gross income in 2018 was just over $56,000. Damon says Rachel makes approximately $500k a year and takes lavish lifestyle trips to Europe, Greece and India.
Damon says he's stepped up plenty, and pays $3,666 a month for 11-year-old Tallulah's private school. Dash also wants his ex-wife Rachel to pay him back for some of the support he's already paid.
