Aretha Franklin Exhibit Opens in Detroit

Has a legend ever been loved as much as Aretha Franklin? Last month at a funeral fit for a Queen, the world watched as we laid Auntie ReRe to rest. The outpourings of love were so monumental and well deserved. That being said fans can continue to honor Aretha Franklin's legacy at a new exhibit opening in the Charles H. Wright Museum.

(METRO SOURCE) Aretha Franklin exhibit will open tomorrow at the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History. Called Think, it will include the red gown and shoes she wore during one day of her visitation. The exhibit will run until January 21st, and museum officials say it's a precursor of a long-term exhibit being worked on right now with the family of the Queen of Soul. The goal is to have that finished and available for viewing by 2020.
