Chance gave local high school students nearly 300 pairs of unreleased Jordan 11 sneakers.
The generous gift giving was done at Chance’s monthly event #OpenMikeNight that he hosts through his charity “Social Works” to commemorate the passing of his mentor “Brother Mike” Hopkins.
The students who attended took to their social media to share the news of Chance’s efforts and shouted him out for putting on for Chicago natives.
