Leaked body camera footage from two of the officers involved, has provided minute by minute details into the arrest and death of George Floyd. The video's show the moment the a rookie officer points a gun at Floyd demanding he exit his car, and the following moments leading up to his death. In the video, Floyd is shocked to be approached by the police and begs the officers to "please do not shoot me" as he is crying. The officers then remove Floyd from the car as onlookers watched and begged Floyd to calm down. Floyd is then begging with the officers stating he isn't resisting, "i wouldn't do anything to hurt y'all, I'm not that kind of guy." Floyd is later heard begging the officers to not put him in the car because he is claustrophobic. Suddenly, Floyd is then pulled to the ground and pinned by the officers, resulting in his death. The video also shows officers checking Floyd for a pulse, yet he failed to find one.
Repeatedly, Floyd stated he could not breath as he called for his mother. Slowly, his voice got weaker and weaker as we now know his life was draining away. He can be heard saying "I'll probably just die this way'.
