Podcast: L&HHH's Teairra Marie Opens Up Sex Tape and Lawsuit With 50 Cent

Love & Hip Hop Hollywood star Teairra Marie stop by "The Doctors Office” podcast last Thursday (4/25) for a in-depth catch-up conversation about LIFE. I ran into Teairra at the “Millennium Tour” (4/24) in full fan-mode, singing all of her favorite songs she loved during her teenage years. The tour featured the hottest music artist during the new millennium years: B2K, Mario, Pretty Ricky, Bobby Valentino, Chingy, and The Ying Yang Twins.

Musically, Marie worked with Jay-Z in his first collaboration project since becoming president of Def Jam Records. The 16-year old debuted her first album titled "Roc-A-Fella records present: Teairra Marie”. The lead single, “How to Make A Girl Feel”, single fueled album sells to 248,000 copies, reaching No. 5 on the Billboard 200 albums chart and No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. In the podcast, Teairra explains what happened to her recording deal, why she was dropped, and how she was informed.

My friendship with Teairra began in 2003 while hosting the weekly night show on 97.9 WJLB. We’ve collaborated on several Detroit-area surprise high school visits, including a free “Graduation Celebration” concert for graduating seniors. The 2005 concert featured 500 high school seniors enjoying a live performance by up-and-coming artist Trey Songs, Pretty Ricky, and Teairra Marie.

The Podcast features a catch-up conversation with Teairra after experiencing the up and downs as a music artist, acting in her 1st major movie, and starring on VH1’s “L&HHH.
