According to the head of petroleum analyst Patrick DeHaanat, prices are soon to rise in Michigan. The Gasbuddy.com analyst tweeted an alert that gas is rising to $2.99 per gallon here in Michigan. Since 2008, the highest recorded average gas price in the state was $4.27 on May 4, 2011, with the lowest average being $1.44 on Feb. 11, 2016.
