According to TMZ, rappers Cardi B, and the City Girls used a song-sample without proper clearance and now the original producer is seeking damage. The sampled lyric, "I wanna slim fine woman with some twerk wit her", comes the 2002 hit record, "Choppa Style" - produced by DJ JMK.
Cardi and City Girls collaborated to make, "Twerk", which clearly features the "Choppa Style" beat chopped up. The Twerk anthem has over 9 million streams on YouTube.
