Rapper Akon was a guest on the today's (11/18) episode of daytime's television talk show "The Real" talking the possibility of running for president. The "Locked-Up" rapper's passion for music prevented him from running in this upcoming 2020 election, however, it looks like he could possibly run in 2024. “I know what the issues are, and as a person, as an immigrant, as a black man, as whatever you want to call it", said Akon "I kind of know or feel like I know that I can take the country and move it forward.”
In the video below, Akon also says's he is currently advising 30 African presidents, and how it is based on the development of the youth.
