Virtual Cooking Class Teaches Italian Dinner With Detroit's Top Chef

Culinary class is in session with generous efforts to raise donations and awareness to support Greater Detroit children and families. The Children's Center in Detroit, along with Michigan Fields and presenting sponsor Ford Motor Company - hosted their first "Tour de Fork" at Home fundraising event. The virtual class gave supporters the opportunity to cook alongside renowned SheWolf Chef & Co-Owner Anthony Lombardo, to create an authentic Italian dinner for two at home.

My attempts to perfect a homemade spaghetti sauce from scratch often came up short. But just by supporting local children and families, and with great tips from Chef Anthony, my pasta sauce game may be better than what then sell at the grocery store - I'm just sayin'. I can admit, I love to cook, and watch home cooking shows all the time. In the video below, I picked up some great kitchen tips, and cant wait to make a bigger mess in the kitchen :).

Check out the "Tour de Fork" at home video below to see what cooking, and learn more about the Children's Center of Detroit's programs and services.
