Ice Cube believes he's got the best diss track in rap history, and it's not even close.

The founding member of N.W.A. declared "No Vaseline" is the "best diss song in the history of Hip-Hop." In footage that went viral on Tuesday, May 28, you can see Cube on stage at a show as he named other iconic diss tracks from MC's he loved like Nas' "Ether" and 2Pac's "Hit 'Em Up." He even shouted out Kendrick Lamar's series of songs from his glorified beef with Drake. However, he stood ten toes down as he explained why his 1991 hit reigns supreme.

“‘No Vaseline’ is the best diss song in the history of Hip Hop, and I’ll tell you why,” Cube told the crowd. “One MC, myself, I took out four muthaf**kas and their manager. You can’t beat that. You can’t beat that. But we did that over 30 years ago, so as it stands today, I got nothing but love for N.W.A, okay? Nothing but love for Dr. Dre, nothing but love for MC Ren, DJ Yella, Eazy-E rest in peace.”

Cube wrote and produced the record with Sir Jinx for his second studio album Death Certificate. The song came in response to shots N.W.A. fired at the Los Angeles native on their two projects after he left the group in 1989. Cube returned fire at all four rappers and their manager Jerry Heller.

While other slanderous records have came and went over the years, Ice Cube's "No Vaseline" has remained at the top of the list of greatest diss tracks of all time. Cube has consistently declared his banger is the best on numerous occasions. Ice Cube dubbed "No Vaseline" as the best diss track during an interview with Earn Your Leisure last year, and other heavy-hitters like Snoop Dogg agreed.
