911 Caller Who Allegedly Swatted Young Scooter Arrested

Police have apprehended the woman who made a 911 call that led to the death of Young Scooter.

The Atlanta Police Department confirmed they arrested Demetria Spencer aka Demi Blanco on Tuesday, April 1, hours after she apparently revealed she was the caller on social media. Spencer, who gained notoriety on the Zeus series "Baddies," hopped on Instagram Live and admitted she was the one who made the 911 call that sent the police to Scooter's location. She was taken into custody shortly afterward. She was booked into the Fulton County Jail and charged with Transmitting a False Public Alarm.

Spencer initially told a dispatcher that she witnessed a naked woman being beaten up by a man, who dragged her inside a home with six other men. She claimed she was from the "neighborhood watch" and said she believed there was drug dealing or a prostitution ring operating in the residence. She also claimed there was a child involved. When police arrived on the scene, they didn't find anything remotely close to the allegations she made.

Their presence caused Scooter and another man to run out of the home. The 39-year-old rapper tore his femoral artery after he hopped over two fences and passed away at a hospital shortly afterward. In her Instagram Live, Spencer told her followers that she made the call because she was the one who was beaten by one of the men. She didn't provide any evidence to support her claims.
