6ix9ine is speaking out after his mom and dog were held up by masked robbers while they ransacked his home.
The New York native, who now resides in West Palm Beach, Fla., took to his Instagram Story on Monday, November 17, soon after dramatic footage of the break-in went viral. In his video, 6ix9ine explains that he's on house arrest and alleges the robbers took advantage of his time away from home. The "FEFE" rapper was permitted to leave his home to stream with Jack Doherty.
"I want to make this video to clear up all the fake news and rumors," he begins.
"The world knows this. I'm on house arrest," he continues while flashing off his ankle monitor. "Yesterday they allowed me to leave for work. People, I guess, saw that I was on livestream with Jack Doherty. They took that opportunity to do some p*ssy s**t. Like I said, it's me so I get it. The rules are different for me, but it was your favorite artist, your favorite actor, and that was done... they don't get no cool points for that."
According to the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, cops responded to 6ix9ine's home with a K-9 unit on Sunday night. Surveillance footage from inside the house shows one armed man dressed in all black manhandling the rapper's 60-year-old mother and her dog while his cohorts search several rooms. You can hear his mom's frightened voice as they move throughout the home. Police are still investigating the break-in. It's not clear if anything was stolen. No arrests have been made.
