15 years ago, Bel Air Luxury Cinema hosted the Detroit premiere for 8 MILE. In honor of 8 MILE’s 15th anniversary, Shady Records announces that they are bringing the film back to the big screen with a special red carpet premiere on November 8th at 7:00pm at the Bel Air Luxury Cinema. Tickets are $8.00 and go on sale Wednesday, October 18th, 2017. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit The Verses Project, which is a branch of the Community Music School (CMS) – Detroit. This program works together with the Michigan State University School of Music as an innovative approach to engaging urban youth of the 21st century by teaching critical literacy skills through the art of songwriting and music production.
