Da Brat has had to file legal documents to deny claims that she has been getting loot from Mariah Carey to pay her bills. Brat is currently being sued for over $1.3 million by the waitress she assaulted in 2007. Da Brat was supposed to pay Shayla Stevens $6.4 million back in 2014, for the smashing of her face with a champagne bottle. Shayla recently claimed and filed legal documents claiming Da Brat was living her best life off Mariah Carey's money. Da Brat has said that her claims aren't true during her bankruptcy case. She also asked the judge to shut down Shayla Stevens from looking deeper into her business.
