The U.S. closed down northbound traffic Monday morning for several hours at the busiest border crossing with Mexico. This was to install new security barriers. This was a day after hundreds of Tijuana residents had a huge protest. There was also another closer of two pedestrian crossings at the San Ysidro in order to prevent any type of mass rushing of migrants across the border.
