Coner McGregor Announces His Retirement

UFC champion Conor McGregor has told the world of Twitter that he is retiring from MMA Fighting. Surprisingly, 5 months after his losing fight to Khabib Nurmagomedov in a title fight in Las Vegas, he decided to make this announcement, just hours later after the pre-taped interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”

This is not the first time that McGregor has announced retirement. Again on Twitter, he made an announcement, April 2016, “"I have decided to retire young. Thanks for the cheese. Catch ya's later." The 30-year-old would retire with a MMA record of 21 wins and four defeats.

UFC honcho Dana White believes that this time, McGregor is telling the truth. White tells ESPN "He has the money to retire and his whiskey is KILLIN' it. It totally makes sense. If I was him I would retire too."
