Help My Friend As She Recovers From A Hit & Run

Danielle. It's hard to believe that less than a week ago, she was walking around and enjoying her life as a mom, sister, aunt and, friend to many, and driving herself to her job at Henry Ford Hospital. Now, she sits in a hospital bed, unable to get up and move. She's in constant pain and praying for the day she can walk, drive, work, and enjoy the things she once loved to do. She ran for her life but was hit by a driver that left her at the scene, with her body smashed between two parked vehicles. Life has not been the same since. Things for her and her daughter have changed so much, and so fast since Sept. 6, 2019. When Danielle and her friend were hit while they were walking into Motor City Casino (inside the parking structure). When she heard several cars being slammed, they tried to run, but it was too late. Danielle was hit and pinned in between two parked cars. She was struck hard by the vehicle that hit another car into her. She was stuck, unable to move, and pinned at the waist. We thank God for her friend and a few good samaritan's that were able to pry one vehicle off her abdomen. Danielle was rushed to Receiving Hospital as the driver took off, leaving her unable to move or breath from the pressure of being pinned against two smashed vehicles. Our family is shocked and her daughter is concerned and scared that her mother may never be able to walk with her again. Danielle has suffered multiple spinal fractures, severe bruising, and emotional injuries that we pray will heal completely and quickly. She is still unable to breath properly, or move her left leg. But her spirit is NOT broken! As of now, she has been moved to Henry Ford Hospital. She is a single mom. She has always paid her bills on her own, but will need as much help as she can. We appreciate any help so she can have a peace of mind when it comes to taking care of her daughter and responsibilities she is obligated to while being hospitalized.
