Defending James Harden

Pistons rookie Bruce Brown defensive attack set the tone in guarding one of the leagues best scorer, James Harden. Coach Dwayne Casey praised his efforts. “He was very impressive. The key thing is he did it without fouling, I thought that was the most impressive thing. He was very disciplined in what he did, he kept his hands back. We had a couple of those hands in the cookie jar fouls, which is very difficult, and they're a master at it, but he did a good job with that."

Bruce Brown on how he would describe the defensive challenge he faced tonight: “Big challenge, James Harden is a great scorer. Honestly, I didn’t go into the game thinking that I would touch the floor, but I was ready. I didn’t know that I would be called, but I went through the game plan, knew his tendencies just in case I got out there, and did a pretty good job.”
