The largest Powerball jackpot in U.S History is delayed according to California lottery officials.
The delay is due to "a participating lottery needing extra time to complete the required security protocols. Powerball has strict security requirements that must be met by all 48 lotteries before a drawing can occur."
Powerball players are encouraged to check Powerball.com for the winning numbers when they are available.
The nationwide Powerball jackpot reached an estimated $1.9 billion making it the largest Powerball jackpot and lottery jackpot in United States history.
