This Sunday, the Detroit Lions will take on the Los Angeles Rams at Ford Field in the playoffs. This is one of the most anticipated Playoff games for several reasons. First, Jared Goff is playing his old team the Los Angeles Rams. Goff spent the first five seasons of his career with the Los Angeles Rams. Goff was traded to the Detroit Lions before the 2021 season.
This is the first division title that the Detroit Lions have won in 30 years.
Not only does Jared Goff get to play his old team the Los Angeles Rams. Former Detroit Lions player Matthew Stafford who currently plays for the Los Angeles Rams gets to take on his former team. Matthew Stafford spent his first twelve seasons with the Detroit Lions. Stafford was traded to the Los Angeles Rams in 2021 where he won the Super bowl against Cincinnati.
This Sunday will be a very interesting game to watch. Matthew Stafford has not played at Ford Field since he was traded to the Rams. Many Detroiters are suggesting Lions fans should NOT wear Matthew Stafford's old jersey to Sunday's playoff game. I agree! Go Lions!!!
