Choppin It Wit The Dawg Feat Tee Grizzley

The new album from Tee Grizzley that's titled Scripture is out and I had a chance to chop it with him about the album. But let's start from the beginning when I met Tee a few years ago It was like his 4th day home from jail and he was brought to the station so that we could meet. And I remember what I thought when he let me hear First Day Out. Now I have to be totally honest I wasn't to sure about the song because just everyone else it sound to me just like Meek Mill's Intro song and I'm thinking that the city was going to chew him up and call him a copycat and all type of things because I know how Detroit can be when it comes the our artist they can be vey heard on them but to my surprise they really did like the song. I kept hearing people singing the song so I was asking people what was it about the song that they liked and they said they were really feeling what he was saying. So after that I starting telling everyone here at WJLB how much the city was loving this song. He was so hot at the time I felt he needed to be at our Coats For Kids and when he showed up the crowed went crazy. But what really drove it home is when he did our Big Show and Chris Brown and Trey Songz brought him out on stage and everyone who was in that arena was singing Tee's song. It was so hype that It looked like Tee was overwhelmed by the lights and the screaming of the people it seemed it took his breath away and to see Trey Songz and Chris Brown singing the song word for word on stage with him I knew then Tee was on his way.I'm just glad I was wrong about thinking the city wouldn't except the song and I'm glad to see him still working hard and every time I see Tee he always seems to have positive energy and that's a great thing.
