Jay-Z’s Team To Provide Legal Assistance For Phoenix Family

You might've heard about or seen the video of the of a Phoenix Police officer being overly aggressive when confronting a pregnant woman and it got the Attention of a lot of people with heavy names it also got the attention of Jay-Z and his Roc Nation Empire.Now this is what happened the police were notified after a four year old girl walk out of a Family Dollar with a $5 Barbie doll and her parents Dravon Ames and his pregnant fiancee Iesha Harper had to pay for it in a way they couldn't imagine. Ames and Harper say the police pointed their guns at them as their 1 year old and 4 year old watch the whole thing. And one of the officers you can hear saying he will shoot Harper in the head. This got crazy very fast. Police were called and they followed Ames and Harper to an apartment complex and the plan was to drop their daughter off at the sitter's house but the plans were changed. The officer told Harper who was sitting in the backseat with the girls to open the back door Harper replied that it doesn't open and that's when an officer threatened to shoot her.So now the family has lawyered up and pursuing charges. And Jay-Z's social justice department of Roc Nation is assisting the family and taking legal action against the officers involved and the City of Phoenix. The family is asking for 10 million dollars. The Roc Nation team is really supporting the family with this. They hired high-powered attorney Alex Spiro and they're also asking for the termination of the officers involved in the incident. They're seeking charges against the officers with child neglect. The family wants charges on the officers for battery and unlawful imprisonment, false arrest,infliction of emotional distress are violating their civil rights.
