Cruising Down WoodWard For The Weekend

This year's Woodward Dream Cruise was as great as it was last year well let's take it back to the beginning it all started August 19th 1995 when some organizers got together and decided to put a cruise together with older vehicles and unique vehicles now it starts on Woodward in Ferndale and it goes all the way through Berkeley Huntington Woods Royal Oak Birmingham and it's a weekend event people come from all over to show off their cars now back in 1995 the organizers expected 30 to 40,000 people to come out but about 250,000 people showed up and it seems like every year he gets bigger and better. And if you look at the license plates of some of the cars that come down Woodward you'll see Georgia license plates you can see as far as Florida license plates and of course everyone who's has an old or unique Car in Michigan is there. But you won't just see cars you'll see bikes,truck and people just having a great time. Now it starts on Friday but you will see people lining up on Woodward with their tents and chairs as early as Thursday evening just so they can have their spot to watch the cruise Friday and Saturday but even Sunday it's still a lot of people up and down Woodward if you didn't get a chance to see it this year definitely you should check it out next year bring your family and make a whole weekend of it.
