Woman, 27, dead motorcycle crash

Last night around 11pm a female motorcycle rider was going down 8 Mile and was near Sherwood going eastbound on 8 Mile and disregarded a red light and was hit by a mini-van that was going northbound on Sherwood. The rider was taking to the hospital but died later. Not sure if alcohol played a part motorcycle accident but we would like to send prayers out to the family because this is a sad moment for them.and I personally feel for this young lady because I ride motorcycles myself and I know how dangerous they can be if you're not careful.
