University of Kansas Apologized for Snoop Dogg’s Pole Dancing Performance

Snoop Dogg has come under fire for his performance at University of Kansas’ “Late Night In Tha Phog” Basketball Pre-Season Celebration. According to the University’s Athletic Director Jeff Long, who issued an apology on behalf of the school, it was made clear to the rapper’s management that the performance was supposed to be a clean version. It is reported however, that Snoop’s performance, which kicked off the school’s Men’s Basketball 2019/2020 season, was full of profanity laced lyrics, accompanied by pole dancers and featured a money gun. The team’s head coach Bill Self reported to ESPN that he was informed the performance would be “radio edited”. Long expressed in his apology that he takes full responsibility for the details of the performance and that the school strives to promote a family atmosphere.
